How To Keep That Summer Glow During Cold Months

Tips To Keep That Summer Glow During Colder Months

It’s that time of year when the air is cold and dry and our summer glow turns to pasty white. Is it possible to keep your summer glow throughout the fall and winter months in a healthy, subtle way?

We put together a few tips for keeping your summer glow without looking unnatural.

1. Moisturize your skin more often

Don’t wait for you skin to feel dry before you moisturize. Use a denser moisturizer cream or, after cleansing your face at night, use 100% pure Argan oil.

2. Use a humidifier at night

If you live in a dryer climate, adding additional humidity to your room at night helps prevent some of your skin’s water loss each night while sleeping.

3. Exfoliate

Removing dead skin cells makes the products you apply after exfoliating more effective. We obviously recommend our microdermabrasion product (find out more here) or you can use a dry brush as well.

4. Use a face self-tanner

Use a face self-tanner under your makeup every three days or so. This will help brighten your skin and give you a sun-kissed glow.

5. Use cold water

Showering in cold water in winter sounds awful, but try to at least reduce the temperature of your daily showers. Why cold water? It closes your pores and locks in moisture. Sometimes beauty is a sacrifice ;)
