InStyle Beauty Writer Raves About The PMD Personal Microderm Pro

InStyle Beauty Editor Sophie Wirt writes that she is "nothing short of enthralled with how much smoother [her] skin has become" after using the PMD Personal Microderm Pro.

"The PMD Personal Microderm Pro is a professional-grade at-home microdermabrasion device. Similar to an in-office microdermabrasion treatment, the tool sloughs dead, dull, dry surface skin cells to reveal a radiant complexion almost instantly... [It] provides a similar feel and effect as a professional microdermabrasion device."

She notes visible results for her and her sister, who also tried the device, after just one use. "It’s the best her skin has looked in years" Wirt says of her sister. "It made her skin glowy and smooth."

Wirt also describes the PMD Personal Microderm Pro as more user-friendly than its competitors, due to ease of operation and only needing to change out discs for a customizable experience. "The device does all of the hard work; there’s no pressing or much manual work required from the user" she says. In addition to being able to use the device on her face, rougher areas on the body, such as elbows and feet, benefit from its exfoliation power. The price point also makes it more accessible to users.

"The PMD is a significantly more economical option than the in-office alternative. After all, professional microdermabrasion treatments are hardly cheap; a single in-office session, costs around $167 on average, per the American Society of Plastic Surgeons. FWIW: The PMD’s current sub-$150 sale price is less than the cost of one pro microdermabrasion session."
