How To Look Good Without Makeup

How To Look Good Without Makeup

Some days you are in a hurry or are running late and you don’t have time to do your makeup. Who doesn’t have those days :) Because we’re sure this is a common thing for many of us, we decided to look into some easy ways to look good without makeup. The tips we found are probably a lot more simple than you think.

Many of these tips are simply things you should do on a regular basis so that you won’t have to use as much or any makeup on those days you are running late. We hope you enjoy the tips.

Use a Skin Toner

You might not use a toner any more but here’s why you should. An alcohol-free toner can help your skin absorb moisturizers and other needful products more easily. Using a toner after washing your face also helps to balance pH levels and can give your face a more even-looking complexion. A more even-looking complexion means less need for makeup!

Use Sunscreen

Many ladies spend thousands of dollars on keeping their skin looking young. It’s all a waste if you don’t protect your skin from too much sun exposure. Sun exposure leads to premature wrinkles, sagging skin, and discoloration. This tip is so simple: instead of using foundation, use a solid-tinted moisturizer with SPF. Not only will you be protecting your skin from the sun, but your hydrating it while adding a tint as well. Simple, but effective.

Exfoliate

One of the easiest ways to make your skin glow and look clean is to exfoliate. As you know, exfoliating removes dead skin cells and allows your skin to regenerate and absorb moisturizers and other products that help your skin stay healthy. Exfoliating regularly is key to glowing, healthy skin. We obviously recommend the PMD to exfoliate. We believe it’s the best way to exfoliate: using the power of microdermabrasion and suction :) Other methods are to make your own exfoliating scrub or purchase other exfoliating products. Exfoliating once or twice a week can make a huge difference.

Vitamin C

Making sure you get enough vitamin C is a great way to help your skin look good. Vitamin C can help reduce your body’s free-radicals. Free-radicals can damage your skin. Think about when you put lemon juice on a sliced apple or avocado. It doesn’t brown. That’s the power of vitamin C. You can take vitamin C as a supplement or get it by eating citrus fruits. Another tip we came across was to drink a cup of hot water and fresh lemon in the morning.

Stop Touching Your Face

This tip is almost silly, but it helps. Keep your hands off your face. Stop picking and scratching at pimples, spots, or blemishes. Touching your face needlessly can add unnecessary oil to your skin. Picking and scratching can cause unwanted scarring or tearing. This is probably easier said than done :)
