6 Must-Have Essential Oils for Beauty

6 Must-Have Essential Oils for Beauty

As you may already know, essential oils have many uses. Need help sleeping? There’s an oil for that. Have acne prone skin? There’s an oil for that too. Here are six must-have essential oils to incorporate in your beauty routine.

1. Add Lavender Oil to Your Mascara

Why would you do such a thing? Well, it turns out it can help your eyelashes become stronger, thicker and longer!

2. Use Melaleuca as an Acne Spot Treatment

As soon as you feel a blemish coming on, dab some melaleuca oil (tea tree oil) on it and see the redness reduced and the blemish shrink within a couple of hours. It’s naturally antimicrobial so it kills the bacteria causing the blemish.

3. Use Vetiver to Help With Sleep

Sleep is a HUGE factor in the health of your skin and your health in general. If you have troubles sleeping this essential oil is great. Simply rub one drop of Vetiver essential oil on the bottom of each big toe or on the bottom of your foot (surprisingly, the bottom of your feet are very absorbant) and go to bed.

4. Use Helichrysum for Dark Spots & Acne Scars

Helichrysum helps your body repair and regenerate cells. Repairing and regenerating skin cells will help dark spots and acne scars fade away. Add a few drops of Helichrysum essential oil to Argan oil and use it as a moisturizer. We recommend using our PMD tool to exfoliate regularly as well. The combination of Helichrysum essential oil and the PMD tool will work wonders.

5 & 6. Diffuse Marjoram & Lemongrass to Relax Facial Muscles and Purify Skin

These two oils together not only smell good but pack a powerful punch in fighting the beauty demons. Marjoram helps with your respiratory and cardiovascular systems. This combined with the purifying and toning benefits of lemongrass make a great combo to keep your skin healthy and vibrant.
